6 Step Process In Renovating Your Kitchen

In-home Consultation

Book a complimentary consultation with our designer. This can be at your place or in the showroom, but preferably on-site, so we can get a feel for the space and take some measurements.

Proposed Renovation Estimate

Our designer will take all the information from the meeting, then follow-up with an email to you that catalogues your kitchen wish-list, together with an estimated price. At this stage the price is only an approximation because we can't accurately price the kitchen until the design is finalized and all materials chosen.

Custom Kitchen Design

If our price estimate meets your budget, the next step is design. Arguably the most important part of the whole process, the design phase includes further meetings with our designer to refine the concept, select materials and finishes, resolve appliances and more. 2D design drawings and a 3D design render are completed, and the kitchen is accurately costed.

Materials & Manufacturing

If you decide to go ahead with us, we'll order the materials, which should take up to 1 week. Once the materials are in our factory we manufacture your cabinetry. Manufacturing takes 1-2 days, and it's stored in our factory until you're ready for installation.

Installation Process

Once the kitchen renovation is complete in the factory, we schedule the delivery date. Your completed kitchen is delivered to site and installed. Once the cabinets are in, the benchtops and splashbacks are templated, with installation to follow about 10 days later. Appliances (hob, oven) are then installed and connected.

Sign Off & Handover

Installation takes about 2 days. Once it's complete, your project manager runs a quality check, then we do a final walk-through with you. We only consider the project complete when you're happy - and you'll get a handover pack with all your guarantees and warranties.

Little Giant Interiors uses the best material available for the manufacture of your kitchen. Little Giant Interiors only uses quality materials backed by its suppliers. We offer two types of warranties as follow:

1. The first type of warranty is for specific items such as specialized surfaces, accessories and appliances. These warranties are made by the manufacturer of these specialized surfaces, accessories and appliances.

2. The second type of warranty is for general workmanship and installation. It is a full-satisfaction guarantee to support our commitment to service quality.

How long does a kitchen renovation take in Auckland?

Once your design is signed off, most kitchens are manufactured and installed within 2-3 weeks. Specialised products can add time.

Do you design the kitchen, or do I need my own designer?

We design it for you – 2D drawings and a 3D render included. If you already have a design, we can manufacture from it.

Do you make the cabinetry yourselves?

Yes – in our own Auckland factory on automated German laser machinery, not outsourced.

What does a new kitchen cost?

Really great company to deal with, Eunice did a great design and the laundry looks exactly as planned. Some of the installers didn’t speak English but we got by with google translate or through communication with Eunice and they worked super hard and to an extremely high standard. We’re really happy with the finished product and the price. They also got me trade prices on the new washer and dryer. Before and after pictures attached!

After search for a company to do our kitchen and laundry renovation we came across Little Giant interiors right from the get go we meet Ruru she was super friendly and knowledgeable about her design work and supplied plenty of ideas and remedies for problem areas then the work was carried out by competent installers who where friendly and timely and tidied up afterwards and produced quality work where we didn’t have to point out errors.We can 100% recommend Little Giants for your next renovation.

Our wine bar and feature wall turned out fabulous, as did our wardrobe. The design was great. The images presented were precise as my husband is a visual person, so this was important. Price is very competitive and the workmanship was very precise. We would definately use Little Giants again.

We had part of our laundry re-designed and I am very pleased with the finished product. Alison, our project manager replied immediately to any queries, the installer is a perfectionist and the bench top arrived and was fitted 3 days after the cabinets were installed, as promised. I have worked very closely with Eunice from Little Giant on our kitchen design right through to completion. She has been amazing every step of the way. She is dedicated to her client and will put your best interests at the forefront of everything she does. She accommodated multiple changes that I wanted to implement with the design and made it seamless. She kept the cost down.Little Giant also helped with our kitchen appliances which was an extra service they provided for our benefit at no extra cost.There were some issues at installation but Little Giant with Eunice’s lead took the initiative to fix it all to a very high standard and to our full satisfaction. I highly recommend Little Giant Interiors! I dealt with Eunice and from start to finish she was attentive, helpful & empathetic. In the design process she created different renders & quotes for me so that I could make informed decisions. In the construction process, she was able to coordinate the varying trades and ensure everything was done as seamlessly as possible, of course not everything was completely seamless, we did have a couple misunderstandings but she dealt with them honourably. I have done renovations throughout my whole house and dealt with many trades and Little Giant Interiors was 100% the best and most honest company I have dealt with.Other than the great customer service, the quality of my kitchen is amazing. I wake up everyday in awe of it, I usually hate cooking but I love it now. I could not be more happy & thankful I chose to work with Little Giant Interiors!I will upload photos soon

Very happy with the work these guys produced. They banged out our new kitchen in less than 3 days and the cupboards in less time. So happy we went with this outfit. Honest pricing and they got to us with changes pretty quickly. I would highly recommend Ruru and her team again.

I have had my kitchen renovated by Little Giant. Very satisfied with work done here. Staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged me free on-site measurements. They worked very efficiently by getting me back with designs and quotation. We had quite a few discussions about the idea. Staff were very patient with changes and getting new layouts for me. They also organized me to visit workshop to see samples and choose materials, gave a well explanation about the process and advised me what to do. They are really knowledgeable about the project. The whole kitchen was done within 4weeks. They are very contactable to come for making adjustments. Price is affordable and reasonable. Quality is extremely good, plus they had me warranty. Very pleasant and satisfied about the service. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff Ruru and their team for the fantastic job. Highly recommended! : )
